I am having the exact same issue with a fresh install. I am pretty sure I have been running it as an admin (and I checked all of the files in the folder to ensure they were not "read only"). I am re-downloading it now to see if something got corrupted along the way.

Ok, I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. The latest version of the launcher is already included in that download: I did NOT need to run the launcher utility (which is the program giving the errors mentioned). I manually changed the launchersettings txt file so that "autocheck = false" and ran the SWGLegendsLauncher itself. Now it is updating the game files :D

    Thanks, Reign.
When I Run LauncherUtility.exe as Admin, it shows "Downloading Required Launcher Files..."
After finished an "ERROR: Unable to verify checksum - Check Admin/Write permissions" is shown in the status bar.
The game still does not launch. Any further suggestions?

Thank you Nagabacca! Yours was the only solution offered that corrected the problem. Additionally, make sure the "Version" tab is changed to 1.9.

Finally, I will be able to play! Again, Thank You!
